As I was surfing the Internet a few days ago, I found a forum post of the kitchen was a comment about how no one uses your slow cooker cause of dissociation with your meal. They never "put all ingredients in a crock pot, walk for 6 hours, and I hope that out exactly the way I wanted .
Honestly, at first I was really upset. I was frustrated, perhaps even anger. I love to cook and can not find my pot of clay to be an object of alienation in my kitchen. My thoughts went after – the person should not have children should not work, should have all the time in the world to spend hours preparing dinner every night. Personally, I'm so used to creating quick and easy meal extremely tasty, I consider myself almost spoiled, never spend more 20 minutes to prepare dinner.
Then I began to release my frustrations. Maybe this person was not informed of what is a slow cooker can really do, and the wonderful benefits. When I was growing up, all I remember eating in a slow cooker are chili, roast and pork chops. I was surprised When my aunt at a family gathering Place potatoes cooked in the pot, not realizing at the time of endless possibilities.
Recently, I realized how much we do not prepare dinner. Preparation However, with my slow cooker, there is little or no immediately before eating and that's what I like! During the week, we as parents are trying to help children with homework to occupy young children, babies and feed do not have the luxury of preparing for a long dinner (and those who have dealt with irritable hungry children know what I mean.) Even for adults without children, the last thing you want to do next a long day of work is to spend hours creating dinner. Crawl into the depths of his kitchen cupboard and dust off your slow cooker.
Now, do not assume you eat pork chops and steak every day. How sound Italian Chicken Parmesan? How about Hungarian Goulash and Burgundy Stew with meatballs? Earthenware or my favorite, lasagna? (I hate all that preparation and then another hour of cooking time for traditional lasagna!) Although mushrooms and rice or butter Peanut Fudge Cake! The possibilities are endless, Chicken Parisienne, with roast beef and Crimini Mushroom Sauce, Chicken Cordon Bleu.
So ignore the left positions as leaders blame crockpot. In my opinion, they enjoy many benefits that can not understand why you can have a healthy meal without endless test preparation before dinner delicious. Give me about 10-15 minutes each morning, and I'll give you a wonderful meal as soon as you walk through your door. It's almost like having your personal chef!
